GENERAL PRACTICE + THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY MEDICAL PROGRAM :: Teaching in Years 1-3

Members of the Discipline of General Practice facilitate PBL sessions in several of the Med 1 & 2 Blocks. In addition to this, they are responsible for lectures, theme sessions and learning topics, along with giving clinical and communication skills sessions in their local hospitals. When students are on urban and rural hospital attachments, general practice staff provide teaching in PBLs, Community & Doctor tutorials and Personal & Professional Development workshops.
